Sports Premium funding is an amount of money which the government has allocated to schools to promote and develop Physical Education and School Sport provision. Schools receive two payments across the year of a set amount per pupil. The premium money has to be spent exclusively on extending the opportunities for all pupils to experience high quality PE lessons, activities and competitive school sport.
